This Condition Grading Guide ensures that all previously owned items are accurately described, consistently graded, and clearly understood by buyers.

All Pre-Loved items listed on Vowloo must follow the grading standards below.

Condition Grades

🌟 New / Unused

Item has never been used
No signs of wear
Original tags, packaging, and accessories included (where applicable)
May include display or gift items

Note: Listed as Pre-Loved only if previously owned but unused.

⭐ Excellent

Lightly used or worn once or twice
No visible defects or damage
Minimal to no signs of wear
Clean interior and exterior
Original accessories included where possible

Ideal for buyers seeking near-new condition.

⭐⭐ Very Good

Gently used with minor, visible signs of wear
Light scratches, scuffs, or creasing consistent with careful use
Fully functional and structurally sound
Any imperfections must be clearly disclosed

⭐⭐⭐ Good

Noticeable signs of wear from regular use
Visible scratches, marks, patina, or wear to corners or hardware
Item remains fully functional
All wear and imperfections must be described and photographed

Often suitable for vintage or collectible pieces.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fair

Significant signs of wear
Visible aging, discoloration, or material wear
May require minor repairs or maintenance
Functional but heavily worn
All flaws must be clearly disclosed

Typically reserved for rare or archival items.

Seller Disclosure Requirements

For every Pre-Loved listing, sellers must:

Select the correct condition grade
Disclose all known wear, defects, or alterations
Provide clear, recent photos of the actual item
Highlight imperfections in both description and images

Failure to disclose material defects may result in listing removal or seller penalties.

What Is Not Considered a Defect

The following are not considered defects when consistent with the stated grade:

Natural leather patina
Minor surface scratches consistent with normal use
Hardware hairline marks
Natural material variations

Authentication & Condition Review

Vowloo may request proof of authenticity or additional images at any time
Listings may be reviewed or removed if condition is misrepresented
Sellers remain fully responsible for accurate condition grading

Returns & Condition Disputes

Minor wear consistent with the disclosed condition grade is not grounds for return
Returns may be considered only where there is material misrepresentation
All disputes are reviewed in line with Vowloo’s Buyer Protection and Returns policies
